Its
fine gold weight must be between 995 and 1005 grammes. Its standard must
be at least equal to 995/1000.
It must have the hallmark of a foundry recognised on the international markets,
the standard, as well as the Assay Office hallmark. It must be accompanied
by an Assay Office slip issued after 2 February 1948 by one of the following
French establishments :
- Caplain Saint-Andre
- Compagnie froms metaux precieux
- Comptoir Lyon-Alemand, Louyot
- Anciens etablissements Leon Martin
- Laboratoires Boufromt et Dussaix
- Laboratoires Pourquery
(after 1 January 1967)
